...a little community history

Vernon Village’s beginnings date back to 1939, when John Giulietti and his

wife Luta Neri settled on 29 acres along the Hockanum River in Tolland County. Today you’ll find residents who came to this community in the 1960s and in the 1950s and stayed. They exemplify what we like to call

“A Fine Community of Good Neighbors.”

As Vernon Village looks forward to it’s fourth generation, it’s here you’ll
find Connecticut’s most affordable 55-plus manufactured housing community.
An on-site, staffed office is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and
by appointment. Full-time maintenance personnel can assist residents with
fix-it problems once a work order has been completed.

Vernon Village's location is very convenient...within walking distance to grocery stores, banks, restaurants and shops. During the fishing season the Hockanum River provides brown trout, river trout and rainbow trout for avid anglers.
